I totally felt the same way with Casey's story being about gender identity instead of sexuality and tbh if they had a fifth season I could especially see that containing - especially given Casey's "I'm a bad boy" line (which is my new sexuality tbh)

ok but deadass- i totally thought they were going in the “casey is NB/gender queer” direction with the whole dress code storyline and the anxiety that was all gonna peak at the track meet…happy with where it all ended but damn casey being NB would have been AWESOME-
